Temple Goes Solar
Wednesday, July 28, 2021 Temple Lutheran, Havertown, cut the ribbon on a new 44kW solar array, installed with the help of Solarize DelCo, an all volunteer program of neighbors helping neighbors to go solar. The electricity produced by the panels is enough to offset 100 percent of Temple's annual electricity usage and eliminate 24 tons of carbon emissions each year. (Photo by Rev. Matt Staniz)

Sponsoring Altar Flowers
Altar flowers are a great way to beautify the sanctuary and remind your fellow worshipers of the new life that Jesus brings. They are also a great way to commemorate an event near a specific date, or honor/remember someone close to your heart. You can now sponsor altar flowers for a specific week.
To sponsor contact the church office by email, or click here.

RALLY DAY 2022
Live Generously!

On September 18th, Rally Day was held at Temple Lutheran Church. This celebrates the start of the church calendar year and marks the beginning of many of our ministries here at TLC.
This year's carnival had games and activities where children could win tickets.
Pastor Tim heard there was a need for school supplies by Child Guidance Resource Center for a fair they hold to make sure children in need have these items for the start of school.
Thanks to an anonymous donor, Thrivent Financial, and the attendees of our carnival, Pastor Tim delivered pens, pencils, glue, notebooks, folders and more!

Movie Night

Simon Birch is a film loosely based on the book, A Prayer for Owen Meany, by John Irving. It takes place in a small New England town and is focused on a heart-warming journey of friendship. Simon was born with a condition that makes him smaller than most children and although teased and bullied, believes in his heart that God created him this way for a reason.
Join us on Sunday, May 5th, from 6:00-9:00 pm as we watch Simon and his friend, Joe, navigate the joy, sorrow and hope of their lives together.
We will watch the film together, then discuss as a group. Popcorn will be provided!
Hope to see you there!!
Any questions, please reach out to Rob Mannix or Lisa Schneller.

Thank you to all who donated!
ADVENT GENEROSITY PROJECT
Temple Lutheran Church has chosen to raise funds for the Tatarchuk-Gadzhaman family who recently moved to Havertown from war-torn Ukraine. Olga and Alex are trying to bring Olga's parents, Igor and Elena, safely to the United States so that her three young children can be reunited with their grandparents.
100% of everything donated will go towards getting them set up with an apartment while they learn English and look for jobs in the U.S.
