Life Center Meals - 2nd Tues. of odd numbered Months

On the second Tuesday of odd-numbered months (January, March, May, July, September, and November), volunteers from Temple Lutheran Church provide food for the dinner at the Life Center of Eastern Delaware County (63rd and Market Streets in Upper Darby). The Life Center of Eastern Delaware County is an emergency shelter for homeless families and individuals in Delaware County. The Center houses 30 individuals at any one time, serves over 160 residents each year, and is operated by the Community Action Agency of Delaware County.

Temple Lutheran Church is one of over 40 area churches, synagogues, and temples participating in providing the evening meal for the shelter program.

We encourage you to donate food and/or your time to make a real difference in the lives of so many. For proper coordination, please sign up to help ahead of time. Sign up online at SignUp Genius. For information on monetary donations towards the program, please email temple@templelutheran.org.
