Blanket the World with Love

"Love never fails." - 1 Corinthians 13:8

Your contribution to the CWS Blankets program not only gives people around the world supplies to keep them safe and healthy but hope, warmth and a reminder that they are loved.

Today, let your response be one of love by giving to our neighbors in their time of need. You can contribute on-line or by filling in the form in the bulletin and sending in your check.

In Person Worship - in the Sanctuary  Live Streamed

Join us for staff-led in-person worship at 10:00 a.m. (Masks and social distancing are required, check out the protocol).  (Screening questions to ask before coming to worship.) The service will be live-streamed.

Note:  We will be keeping our 10:00 online worship service indefinitely. We are dedicated to accommodating as many people as possible in these wild COVID times.

Sponsoring Altar Flowers

Altar flowers are a great way to beautify the sanctuary and remind your fellow worshipers of the new life that Jesus brings. They are also a great way to commemorate an event near a specific date, or honor/remember someone close to your heart.  You can now sponsor altar flowers for a specific week.

To sponsor.

Temple Goes Solar

Wednesday, July 28,  Temple Lutheran, Havertown, cut the ribbon on a new 44kW solar array, installed with the help of Solarize DelCo, an all volunteer program of neighbors helping neighbors to go solar. The electricity produced by the panels is enough to offset 100 percent of Temple's annual electricity usage and eliminate 24 tons of carbon emissions each year. (Photo by Rev. Matt Staniz)

While we are all social distancing, the work and expenses of the church continue.  Please consider e-giving as a way to continue meeting your pledge to Temple during this time.  Click here for the form and instructions on how to do this.
