Motivational Posters for Patients
Have an artist in your home? Even if you don’t we need your help! Thomas Jefferson Hospital is collecting motivational posters to hang in their patient rooms. They have over 900 patient rooms that they are hoping to fill with motivational quotes and drawings. Ideally on 8.5 x 11" paper, and if you can laminate it yourself that is great! If you don’t have a laminator at home, no worries, Amy will take care of it. If you are able to help, please contact Amy Mensch at .

The TLC Bookclub read for this month will be "I'm Still Here: Black Dignity in A World Made for Whiteness", by Austin Channing Brown (http://austinchanning.com/the-book). As quoted by Publisher's Weekly "In this powerful book, Brown is up front about her exhaustion with white people as she meticulously details the experience of being a black woman in modern American society." Join us via video-conferencing on Monday June 1st at 8pm (BlueJeans software), for a great discussion and opportunity to connect with the TLC community. Please send private message for video-conferencing information.
