YOUTH GROUP PLANNED ACTIVITIES

March:

1^st through 31^st:
Read-a-thon to raise money for the Heifer International project.
Heifer International provides animals such as cows, pigs, rabbits, and chicks to needy families around the world, helping them to become self-reliant.

Sunday, 17^th:
Youth group meeting after the 10:30 service.
Youth will be assembling Easter Baskets for the children at the Women’s Shelter in Wawa, PA.

15^th through 17^th :
Harvey Cedars Youth Retreat (contact Pastor Stiles or Gail Nichols for info)

Sunday, 24^th:
Older youth will be filling plastic eggs with candy for the Easter Egg hunt on 3/30.

Sunday, 24^th:
For the younger kids: Linvilla Orchards "Hayride to Bunnyland" (lunch after 10:30 service, then caravan) "Visit the Easter Bunny’s house in the woods and get a treat for the children! Easter candy, petting zoo, and fun for all! Easter flowers and spring plants, Perennials, pansies, bedding plants – weather permitting"

Saturday, 30^th:
Annual Easter Egg Hunt. Youth 14 + up report for "hiding detail" At 9 a.m. The HUNT begins at 11 a.m.  

April:

Sunday, 14^th :
Youth Service at Temple

May:

Saturday, 11^th
Mother’s Day arts & crafts 10:30 a.m. in the Gathering Room
Pizza lunch afterward

June:

Saturday, 15^th:
Wilmington Blue Rocks –vs- Winston-Salem Warthogs (Fireworks night!) Frawley Stadium, Wilmington 7:05 p.m. Box seats $8.00 (adults) Youth – free (paid from youth & family account)

Late June (weekend after school ends):
Pool party at the Engman’s (details to follow)

July:

Saturday, 13^th :
Hershey Park
Group rate:
$19.95 ages 9-54 (savings of $15.00)
$16.95 ages 3-8 (savings of $3.00)
$17.95 ages 55+ (savings of $2.00) (must purchase tickets by May 1^st to get group rate. $10.00 will be contributed toward each youth ticket from our Youth & Family account)

August:

Saturday, 10^th :
Annual Youth car wash at Temple, noon to 3 p.m.
