At Temple Lutheran Church, music is a central part of our worship life. The goals of our music ministries are to provide an opportunity to participate regardless of experience or ability and to join together to create music that serves the worship life of the congregation. The following music ensembles are currently available at Temple Lutheran Church:
Bell Choir - Open to musician of any skill level, including beginners, the bell choir rehearses weekly and provides music at Sunday worship services on a regular basis.
Children's Choirs - Beginning at age 4, children are invited to participate in "Music Fun" workshops that teach them music theory and appreciation in a fun-filled atmosphere. School-aged children can participate in the Primary or Junior choirs, rehearsing weekly and providing music at Sunday worship services on a regular basis.
KENANIAH Praise Band - Open to musicians and singers of any skill level, KENANIAH provides music during contemporary worship services. Occasionally, KENANIAH is invited to lead worship or perform songs at special events throughout Delaware County. KENANIAH is always seeking singers, guitar/bass players, drummers, and players of just about any other instrument. Our goal is to assemble a rotating group of musicians in order to provide a full band as often as possible.
Senior Choir - Open to all singers, the Senior Choir learns and regularly sings a variety of choral anthems during the traditional worship service.
