Confirmation

Confirmation is a time of learning about God's love and what it means to follow Jesus and be a part of God's church. Confirmation typically occurs during 7th and 8th grade (although this may be adjusted to meet the needs of a student or to form a better group). This two year process includes classes, activities, and service projects. At the end of this time of exploration and preparation, students are invited to publicly affirm their baptism during worship on Pentecost Sunday. 

Confirmation classes typically occur on Sunday afternoons between October and February. Often, these classes are done in partnership with Pennwynne Presebyterian Church and other local congregations.

The confirmation schedule for 2009-2010 is included in the Youth Events Calendar.
